Al The Alpaca

Al the Alpaca: Forever Friends is based on a true story of Al when he was taken from his friends and the life he knew on an alpaca farm to a neglected and dangerous life on a sheep farm. Al shares his fears and his longing to be reunited with his two best friends, Francis and Teddy Bear. Al is finally rescued and take to Second Chance Ranch, a rescue farm where he finds new pastures friends and a loving and happy forever home. But still, Al misses his old friends and realizes the joy that forever friends can bring to life. Al's adventure is told by Al himself!

BIO

Diane Gockel is a former high school teacher who has devoted much of her life to rescuing, fostering and adopting homeless and neglected pets and now enjoys writing a series of children’s stories inspired by real animal rescues. She is a featured author for Microsoft’s Skype In The Classroom program, where she reads books from her Rescue Series to children all over the United States and beyond. She and her husband have four grown children, two grandchildren and live on a small rescue farm in Sammamish, Washington. Her motto in life is “Be your purpose. This certainly isn’t something everyone would do, but it truly is my purpose.”
